Christmas Vacation

While not as crazy as the Griswolds in National Lampoon's, we did have a busy holiday season.  From tree trimmings to the Nutcracker to gingerbread to Santa it was a great Christmas.

Our annual trip to the neighborhood Christmas tree lot

Bringing home our tree by wagon power.  Sophie named the tree "Icebox"

Sophie and Matt posing for the holiday card

Sophie and her friend Lily at the Nutcracker ballet

Sophie's class trip to the National Botanical Gardens (Jason got to tag along)

Sophie and her friends - House party Gingerbread-style

Off to see Santa

Sophie and Santa.  Matty was not quite brave enough for a photo with Santa, but did sit on Mom's lap with Santa nearby

Santa's helper is awesome at balloon animals

Surprise!  It's Grammy just in time for some holiday baking.

Christmas morning!  I wonder what awaits downstairs?

A new American Girl doll for Sophie

An awesome turtle blanket for Matt

The horse is really Sophie's, but try telling that to Matthew

And don't tell him that the carrot belongs to the pony either

Jason and his new pair of pajama pants, a Christmas tradition

Merry Christmas to All!

What a treat it was this morning, to open to your blog and see all of these beautiful pictures. Looks like you may have had the best Christmas ever. I miss you all and can't wait to meet Matt. Sophie you looked so elegant for the Nutcracker and how fun to have Grammy enjoying the season with you.

    Love you lots,
    Aunt Marsha
