Tbilisi Tales - 4th of July (2005)
Occasional Tales from our Life in the Republic of Georgia
And you thought the 4th of July was only celebrated in the USA! Well, this weekend the US Embassy had the biggest (and maybe only?) July 4 BBQ this side of the Black Sea. Beer, BBQ, burgers, football, live blues, and fireworks. The only thing missing was the Declaration of Independence. It was Sophie's first July 4 BBQ and she had a great time hanging with her Georgian and American friends.
