Sophie Photo - "Happy Halloween!"
We enjoyed a weekend of Halloween fun! Friday night we attended the October Bash at the international school. Sophie charmed everyone with her borrowed Santa Claus costume, and Jason ate two chili dogs. (Chili dogs in Tbilisi? He’s a brave, brave man.) Sophie enjoyed seeing all the big kids running around in their costumes, and it was fun checking out the classrooms. Saturday night Sophie was back in the Santa suit for the embassy-sponsored Halloween potluck (where Jason actually managed to eat another chili dog!). Sophie’s first Halloween was happy indeed!

You all look great. Your commentary tells a good story. Were you really secretly an English/Journalism major? If you like we could send some really hot Texas chili seasoning mix to make your own chili dogs. Where did you get the Santa suit? It seems to fit Sophie nicely, and the season too. How do the locals celebrate Halloween? Thanks for keeping us all in the circle.

Okay, for a minute there I thought Tiblisi was either way ahead of us in time zones or you were just really organized and having Christmas pictures taken already! :-) Good thing I read the captions. Of course Sophie makes an adorable Santa and that could work for your Christmas photo this year!

Santa, Mom and Dad, all look great, hope you all had alot of fun celebrating the day. Sophie is becoming quit the party animal. Lots of Love Grandpa and Grandma Powell, and the boys think Sophie looks SOOOOO Cute.

Sophie looks so adorable as Santa. Oddly enough, I don't think that I've ever seen a Santa costume at Halloween and why not? Poor Jason, with those chili dogs rolling around in his stomach - ouchie!
