For the last few years, we have battled in our neighborhood
Bocce Ball league. Our team - the aptly named Old Age and Treachery (OAT) - has tasted only samples of victory, making the playoffs, but ultimately falling short every season, usually to a team much younger and with less child rearing responsibilities. On Thursday, June 13 that all changed when OAT took home the prized Glass Boot by beating arch rivals Mission Imbocceball. The final was a nail biter as we played into the night and finally won 15-13. We are the Champions (my friend)!

Congratulations OAT!! Well done, and now the monkey is off your back. When you come to visit we may have to have a little "all in good fun" bocce competition. Give the kiddies a kiss for us.
Love,
Aunt Marsha
