Summer - Part I

Since school got out in June it's been a mad dash to make the most of the fun and sun. Here's a quick recap.

Sophie and her teacher Ms. Guaraldo on the last day of kindergarten. School's out for summer!

First stop, deep in the heart (and heat) of Texas with the Catanzaro family...

Between Austin and San Antonio lies Schlitterbahn, the best water park in the world (seriously, it's been scientifically proven).

The Spoetzel Brewery in Shiner, Texas (population 2,000 + a bunch of hard core beer tourists)

Dinner at Stubbs in Austin

Back home for 4th of July parade and fireworks...

Sophie and her friend Lily at our local 4th of July parade.

Never too old to have fun with sparklers!

Time for a quick beach/surf trip to the Maryland shore...

Sophie and Amy on the beach at Assateague (famous for it's wild ponies that run free on the beach)

On the boardwalk in Ocean City

Sophie's Irish dance summer camp was a real hit!

Sure looks like you did summer up right!
Had a great visit with all of you, sorry your stay was so short.
See you in Oct. I'm ready for some Trick-or-Treating, and goblins. We love you all.
