Fishin'
While she had never really gone fishing before last weekend, Sophie has been putting sticks in rivers, streams, ponds, puddles...just about anywhere fish may live. So, when we headed out to the Eastern Shore last weekend it was an opportunity too good to pass up.
Armed with a brand new fishing pole from the kids section at Target, Sophie and Dad get ready for the first cast.

And withing about 2 minutes....a FISH!!! When Sophie realized that there was something on her line she actually took off running, so Dad had to come in for the catch and release.

Jacob's gearing up for next weekends Fishing Derby and annual camping trip with Grandma and Grandpa. Olivia went last year and this year she politely declined telling Grandma that she "just can't miss her gymnastics class"! May have more to do with the fact that she also runs away from fish.
