Warsaw (April 1-5)
Jason was in Warsaw, Poland earlier this month to attend a conference with his Georgian counterparts from the Ministry of Finance. In between meetings he had a chance to explore the sights, including the commeration events marking the one year anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II.

In the Old Town or Stare Miasto, which was completely leveled by the Nazis.

These buildings in the Stare Miasto have been completely rebuilt since the end of World War II.

What a treat to be able to see such historical sites - and you are going to cities that would not necessarily be high on your list of places to see, but are fascinating nonetheless. Such a beautiful candle display for Pope John Paul II, a great humanitarian.
