Tbilisi Tales - Moving On (October 17) & Bao Babi
Occasional Tales from our Life in the Republic of Georgia
On October 17, after two years in Georgia, we boarded Lufthansa Flight 3215 bound for Munich and then the USA. It's hard to believe that our time in Tbilisi has come and gone. We've got great stories and memories from the last two years and we're sad to be leaving behind many wonderful friends.
Over the next few weeks we'll post photos from our last month in Tbilisi. Let's start with the going away party for some of our children friends at the "Boa Babi" family fun center. "Bao Babi" is basically a Georgian version of "Chuck E. Cheese" except they serve Georgian cheese pies instead of pepperoni pizza and there are none of those annoying mechanical "Chuck E. Cheese" characters singing the same songs over and over.
First up, snack time! Amy and Sophie enjoy fries and cheese sticks with our friend Gia's children, Salome, Sopo, and Vacho. Sophie ate her own lunch and then started devouring everyone else's. Takes after her father...
Lizzy and Reziko, our friend Marika's children.
Roland and his wife and son, Sandro.
After lunch it was time to hit the play zone. Sopo and Sophie in the ball pit.
Lizzy in mid-slide

It was a fun day for everyone.
