Tico Tales - Sarchi (April 1)
Occasional Tales from our Life in Costa Rica
We made a day trip to the town of Sarchi. It's famous as the place where they make oxcarts. Though oxcarts are no longer in use on the coffee plantations, small ones make great souveniers for tourists! The tour buses pull right up to the factories, which even provide free buffets for visitors. We didn't buy an oxcart, but we had fun looking.

Sophie had a snack in the car on the way home.
