Miami. Nice. (Jan. 27 - Feb. 2)

Jason had a work conference in Miami, much to the pleasure of happy tag-alongs Amy and Sophie. It was a fun week for all of us (though probably more so for the girls). We were all amazed at the beauty of Miami's white sand beaches and turquoise waters (and by its eerie resemblance to those Seinfeld episodes that saw Jerry visiting the 'rents). Amy and Sophie spent their days at the pool or beach, exploring Miami Beach by bus, and locating the nearest Target. Jason had a good time reconnecting with his colleagues posted around the world and hearing the latest from Georgia and other far-flung locales. Each night the three of us walked the mile-long boardwalk down to South Beach for child-friendly dining on Lincoln Road or Espanola Way. All in all, it was a great trip to the good ol' U S of A!




We thought you had to go to the Carribbean to see waters like these.
