The rainy season (a.k.a. the green season or winter) started about three weeks ago and already we're wistful what once was. Here's a look back at summer in our backyard:




A family of blue parakeets staked out these bananas as their own, but we managed to sneak a few when they weren't looking and they were the most delicious bananas we've ever tasted.


Mango . . . Sophie has gone native and totally loves mangoes.
