Tico Tales - Grandpa's Visit
Occasional Tales from our Life in Costa Rica
Our time is running short here in Costa Rica, so it was great that Grandpa Mario could come for a visit before we start packing up. And, eventhough it is the rainy season we had a great time visiting waterfalls, kicking it at the pool, and combing the beach.

We knew that Grandpa Mario had gone fully native when started wearing the flower that Sophie gave him behind his ear!

It is so fun to see all the great places we got to visit but with other people in the photos. Makes us feel like we were there with you. What's with the gringo ponchos at the waterfall? The Catanzaros braved the elements with just jackets! :-) We can come help pack if you need us.

Those are really great pictures. I didn't get to see you on your visit, I can't believe how Sophie has grown. It looks like you had a good time when Mario got to visit with you. Hope to see you next time. Love you, Aunt Laurie
